Dear Fellow Student,
Welcome to the Enneagram Central Self-Study Course. My
name is Clarence and I'll be your teacher... Let me introduce
myself briefly. For eight years, I've been the editor of the
largest and oldest newsletter on the Enneagram, The Enneagram
Educator. I made it my business to know who does what and
how well. I've read all the books on the enneagram, reviewed
a lot of them through my newsletter, and I give seminars, retreats
and workshops around the country. My book, Parables and the
Enneagram, was recently published by Crossroads.
This course began when I gave a weekend
workshop in Jacksonville, Florida and they asked if they could
somehow continue to learn and stay in touch. I agreed to create
a course, then at 30,000 feet on the way home where the mind
tends to expand, I decided I'd try it on the Net.
I give the Introductory Course of 12 lessons
free. You'll learn a bit about each enneagram style, and you'll
see my approach. You'll notice I use movies, poems, radio shows
etc. to enable you to see the enneagram styles all around you,
so your education continues after you leave the screen. I also
supply a reading list so if you wish to study through books,
that's an option.
If you like the Introductory Course well enough, you may want
another set of essays, these more thorough, covering subtypes,
centers, energies and other enneagram style refinements. The
full course is comprised of over 35 additional essays for only
$20 (US funds). To get into that section of my website, you'll
need a password which I give you when you pay for the course.
In the remainder, I cover all the types
from three additional angles and have a number of essays on what
enneagram strategies are and how we use them. In addition, I
am going to publish, over a period of time, some of the most
helpful articles from the Enneagram Educator. You'll hear
from Condon, Wagner, Dobson/Hurley and Daniels and find articles
about all of the major authors and their works. Should be a rich
mix.
