A Workshop to Help You:

• Learn a powerful framework for effective coaching, counseling and personal change
• Recognize Enneagram growth arcs: How different styles grows and change
• Better identify and work with primary and secondary defense mechanisms
• Evoke each Enneagram style's hidden resources
• Become your own best coach, counselor or therapist

Change is the only constant; nothing stays the same. Even as we maintain our inner view of the world, the outer world keeps changing. Our success at living a complete life depends on how closely our inner map matches the outer territory; how willing we are to revise past learnings, adapt to new circumstances or surrender old defenses.

This workshop presents Tom Condon’s new Five Elements of Change model - a general model of change that is specifically adapted to working with Enneagram patterns and problems. Each Element will be explored in-detail. Tom will demonstrate effective methods for helping people change and you will practice new skills in interactive exercises.

This workshop will teach you the framework used by exceptional coaches, counselors and psychotherapists – how they think and act when they successfully help their clients change. It will also help you become your own best coach or therapist.

The Five Elements of Change are:
              1) Defining a problem to be changed
              2) Creating sufficient motivation
              3) Developing realistic, well-formed goals
              4) Evoking the inner resources needed to make the change
              5) Using effective techniques

Topics will include: Each Enneagram style’s positive and negative motivation to change * “Feel good,” “feel bad” and “feel nothing” defense mechanisms * The value of subtypes in producing change * How effective change methods work with different personality dilemmas * More NLP techniques newly applied to the Enneagram

This workshop is about using the Enneagram’s deep insights and therapeutic tools to help yourself and others change. Since the best way to help others change is to do it yourself, the workshop will be a safe place to make changes in your personal or professional life.

Recommended for Coaches, Counselors, Therapists, HR professionals, Managers, Enneagram students, NLP students; anyone who works with or manages people and those seeking to make changes for themselves. Open to anyone familiar with the Enneagram through training or reading.

Therapeutic Metaphor and the Enneagram
Using Storytelling to Change Life Scripts

Toronto / March 24-25
For information call or email:

A workshop to help you:

· Create and deliver effective therapeutic metaphors

· Transform Enneagram life scripts

· Change the metaphors you live by

· Learn to use anecdotes, jokes and humor

· Use storytelling to create change in yourself and others

· Acquire metaphors and stories for your personal or professional use

Therapeutic metaphor – telling stories to create and catalyze change – is a powerful technique for helping yourself and others evolve and grow. Stories foster change so successfully because they bypass normal ego defenses and communicate directly with the unconscious. The listener often finds fresh perspectives, solutions to problems and new resources for coping well and living fully. Derived from clinical hypnosis, therapeutic metaphor has many applications in daily life and is used naturally by good communicators.

In this unique workshop you will learn to:

1) Create and deliver effective therapeutic metaphors as well as use

      antidotes, jokes and humor.

2) Apply therapeutic metaphors to the needs and dilemmas of each

      Enneagram style.

3) Transform existing unconscious metaphors and scripts that drive each

      Enneagram style.

This weekend is for anyone in the helping professions but will be immensely helpful to other professionals as well as to people seeking positive personal changes. Anyone interested in combining effective techniques for change with the diagnostic power of the Enneagram is welcome.

Tom Condon will demonstrate many useful ways to work with clients. True to its content, the workshop will offer powerful, practical techniques in a highly entertaining way that will help you make lasting positive changes.
