LECTURE
SERIES
In the Lecture Series you'll discover
a rich, wide-ranging perspective on the Enneagram. These lectures
are used in Enneagram study groups and are perfect for home use.
The Dynamic Enneagram-Introduction
Discover how your personality style
is many things at once-a hypnotic trance, a strategy for making
sense of reality, a skill, a story you tell yourself, a host
of talents, a set of defenses and an array of potentials.
NLP & The Enneagram
NLP identifies the structure of subjective
experience-how we hear, feel and see the world-as a first step
to changing it. In this tape, Tom uses NLP to identify the sensory
scaffolding that supports Enneagram styles. He demonstrates the
famous NLP eye movements and other non-verbal cues that reveal
internal states. This is followed by a lively discussion of the
biases of different therapies and how they often minister to
the problems of specific Enneagram styles.
Secondary Gains
Secondary Gains are the hidden motives
and unconscious needs that drive neurotic fixated behavior. Here
Tom reveals the Secondary Gains most commonly present in the
personality compulsions described by the Enneagram.
What's My Style?
Working with several small panels
and equipped with little information, Tom offers his impressions
of each panelist and tries to discover their Enneagram style.
A useful exercise in typing.
Emotional Trios-Overview
Tom presents his latest insights into
the similarities shared by groups of Enneagram styles. These
include: "ruling paradoxes," core sensory biases and
new material about the Enneagram and hypnosis.
Twos, Threes & Fours
In this DVD, Tom offers unique insights into
the dynamics of Enneagram styles Two, Three & Four, detailing
their shared childhood themes, emotional habits, sensory strategies
and world views.
Fives, Sixes & Sevens
Using the same approach, Tom explains
the inner dynamics of Fives, Sixes & Sevens.
Eights, Nines & Ones
The inner dynamics of Eights, Nines & Ones.
DEMONSTRATION SERIES
In the Demonstration Series you'll see individuals
move from their Enneagram compulsion to greater freedom as Tom
uses a therapeutic technique customized to the dilemma of each
Enneagram style.
The demonstrations are sometimes entertaining, sometimes intense,
often producing a visible before- and-after difference in the
client.
Working With A One This demonstration reveals the Oneish need to live
up to an ideal and its social consequences. It also explores
how to have more choices and flexibility around the issue of
being good.
Working With A Two
A Two works with Tom on how to separate the role
of being helpful from her desire to truly care for others. The
demonstration also shows how to work with unconscious imagery
and homework assignments.
Working With A Three
This tape demonstrates the "visual squash,"
a technique for integrating conflicts, specifically applied to
the Three conflict about success and failure.
Working With A Four
Focuses on the Fourish problem of
self-rejection. Using reframing and "therapeutic frustration"
Tom helps a Four get in touch with her own sense of power and
responsibility.
Working With A Five
This tape is more interview-like, exploring the
Five tendency towards social fear and how to develop the capacity
to self-assert.
Working With A Six
Tom shows a male Six client how to reverse projections,
reclaim his power and grow more comfortable making his own decisions
and choices.
Working With A Seven
This demo explores the Seven tendency to self-jail
which leads to their compulsive need for multiple options. The
focus of the changework is on how to have more choices in the
first place.
Working With an Eight A sensitive interview, particularly helpful for understanding
the vulnerability that hides behind the forceful defenses of
many Eights.
Working With A Nine
Tom works with a Nine on her feelings of non-being
and demonstrates how to find the self that hides inside a Nine's
defensive fog.
The NLP Technique of Anchoring
Anchoring is a powerful easy-to-learn
NLP technique that when applied to the Enneagram related difficulties
can make a significant difference to fixated or compulsive behavior.
This demonstration-with a Five-is comprehensive, self-explanatory
and dramatic.
